Meghan O’Malley, Esq.
About
Divorce and family transitions can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and deeply personal. Attorney Meghan O’Malley helps clients move through these moments with strategy and steady guidance. Her practice focuses on family law, including divorce, property division, custody, support, modifications, restraining orders, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements.
With a strong background in domestic violence advocacy, Meghan is experienced in handling high-conflict and safety-sensitive matters. She is a trained domestic violence advocate and volunteers as a court advocate with a local DV organization, supporting survivors through the court process. This work deepens her ability to identify coercive control, financial manipulation, and complex custody dynamics - and to respond decisively.
In addition to her legal work, Meghan is a divorce coach and mediator, guiding clients to make grounded, values-based decisions that promote long-term stability for themselves and their family.
Admitted to practice in Massachusetts since 2009 and New York since 2010, Meghan is a Fresh Starts Registry Expert and an active member of the Women’s Bar Association, the LGBTQ Bar Association, and the Norfolk County Bar Association.
